The PWHL’s Ottawa Charge announces it will move into the Canadian Tire Centre as a permanent, full-time home starting with the 2026-27 season. The team has played its home games at TD Place Arena for the past three seasons, using the venue to establish a presence in Ottawa. The move means the Charge will share the Senators’ home arena with the Ottawa Senators. Work is underway at Canadian Tire Centre to provide the Charge with dedicated amenities, including access to an exclusive locker room and other required spaces. The Charge made the announcement at a press conference, and Senators Sports & Entertainment, which operates the facility, expresses support for adding a second professional women’s hockey tenant in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Sources describe the agreement as multi-year, with the transition scheduled for the 2026-27 season, after the Charge completes its current run at TD Place.
