The Ottawa Charge, a PWHL team, is set to move into the Canadian Tire Centre as its permanent home. Multiple outlets report that the Charge will become full-time tenants of the arena, which is also the Ottawa Senators’ venue. The move follows the Charge’s three-season run at TD Place.

According to reports, the team’s relocation is scheduled to begin with the 2026–27 season. The announcement is described as being made at a press conference, with Senators Sports & Entertainment officials publicly welcoming the Charge to the facility.

The Ottawa Citizen adds that work is underway at the Canadian Tire Centre to provide the Charge with appropriate on-site access, including an exclusive locker room and other spaces. The arena is expected to be shared with the Senators, with preparations focused on enabling the Charge to operate as a regular, full-time tenant at the venue.
