Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis says the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) final report on Ajit Pawar’s plane crash is expected in January. Pawar died along with four others after their Learjet 45 aircraft crashed near Baramati airport on January 28. Following the crash, the AAIB launches an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the accident.
Fadnavis also states that a preliminary report has already been received. He says investigators have completed reconstruction work and have retrieved digital evidence, including data from the aircraft’s black box. He adds that any further action will be considered after the final report is submitted.
Both outlets report that the AAIB probe is ongoing and that the investigation’s next key milestone is the final report in January. The statements focus on the status of evidence collection and reconstruction, and on the timeline for final conclusions rather than on the causes of the crash.
