According to reports, the film earns about Rs 5.90 crore net in India on its opening day, with overseas collections adding around Rs 3 crore, taking its worldwide gross to roughly Rs 9.73 crore. The film’s earnings are attributed largely to the Telugu states, including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On its second day, “Lenin” records a further improvement, with collections rising by about 14% over opening day. Worldwide totals then climb to above Rs 23 crore, with occupancy reportedly remaining encouraging, particularly for evening shows, and responses to Akhil Akkineni’s performance described as positive.
After its theatrical run, the film is also reported to move to streaming. Post-theatrical OTT rights are said to be acquired by ZEE Network, though specific platform availability is not detailed in the reports. The film features Akhil Akkineni in a rural action setting based in Rayalaseema, with music by S Thaman and Bhagyashri Borse starring opposite him.
