A man accused in a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case allegedly kills six people near Hyderabad, Telangana, police and multiple reports say. The killings occur across two households in Shabad and surrounding areas. The accused is alleged to murder a teenage girl who had lodged a complaint, along with her mother and grandmother. Reports also say he then kills his wife and their two young sons at their home. One account says he drove the girl to a lake before killing her there and then returned to continue the violence. After the attacks, he reportedly contacts or informs his parents. Police launch a search for the absconding suspect. In a later update, the accused is found dead after a manhunt lasting about 60 hours, according to one report. Multiple sources also cite the man’s background of alleged alcohol addiction and gambling, and describe family quarrels and relocation following harassment allegations.
