The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it carries out precision airstrikes that destroy a terrorist enclave in Borno State and kill terrorists. Multiple outlets report that the operations are conducted by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai on Friday, 10 July 2026. The strikes are carried out in the Yaganari area within the Gezuwa general area of Borno, where the NAF says it acted on credible intelligence indicating renewed terrorist activity.

According to the reports, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance are used to confirm the presence of terrorist structures and logistics hubs before the targets are engaged. The NAF describes the strikes as damaging or destroying terrorist infrastructure and “neutralising” several terrorists, while also weakening the group’s ability to regroup or move. One outlet refers to the operation as a precision strike against an enclave at Yaganari, while others describe it as a fresh effort to destroy a terrorist hideout and enclave in the same area.

The NAF also cites statements from its Director of Public Relations and Information and notes internal commendations for the operation’s execution.
