A Flipkart delivery executive is arrested in Bengaluru after a woman accused him of forcing his way into her home and making an obscene gesture, police said. According to the complaint filed at Marathahalli Police Station, the incident came to light after the woman posted details and a video online, alleging that the delivery person sought to use her washroom despite her repeated refusal, then allegedly exposed himself before leaving. The police registered a case under Crime No. 345/2026 under Sections 75, 79 and 329(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused has been identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamat. Bengaluru City Police forwarded the complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Whitefield, and the Deputy Commissioner later confirmed that an FIR was registered and that the investigation is underway.

Flipkart said it is deeply disturbed and is supporting the customer, adding that it terminated the engagement of the delivery partner involved once the matter came to its attention. The company also said it reviews incidents and will cooperate with investigating authorities, stating that delivery partners undergo background verification and mandatory training.
