Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is set to lead a five-day Indian business delegation to Spain, Belgium and Finland from July 13 to 17, according to announcements from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The visit aims to strengthen economic engagement with Europe through cooperation on trade, investment, technology, innovation and sustainability. The delegation includes Indian companies from sectors such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, digital technologies, gems and jewellery, food processing, healthcare and design.

In Spain, Goyal is scheduled to participate on July 13 in a business roundtable organised with the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, CEOE and ICEX Spain. Discussions are expected to cover areas including automotive, renewable energy, railways, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, food processing and tourism. The talks also take place as Spain and India mark the Spain-India Dual Year 2026, highlighting 70 years of diplomatic relations.

In Belgium on July 14 and 15, Goyal will visit the Port of Antwerp and hold CEO-level meetings with Thales Group and Silox Group. The programme also includes participation in India-EU business engagement events, including the Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Plenary. The delegation’s final leg in Finland on July 16 and 17 focuses on digitalisation, clean energy, advanced manufacturing and the circular economy.
