Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted a 60-year-old headmaster of Nomadic Basic School, Igbojaye, in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State. The victim, identified as Mr. Matthew Kolawale Owoade (popularly known as ‘Onaiye’), was intercepted and kidnapped by armed assailants while returning from a visit to his farm. His son, Abiola Owoade, reported that the abductors contacted the family shortly after the incident using the victim’s phone and demanded a ransom of N30 million for his release. During a search on Sunday, the victim’s motorcycle was found abandoned in a bush.
