The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Ram Temple) Trust has issued a notice inviting applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee temple administration in Ayodhya. The recruitment comes as a donation theft/misappropriation probe is ongoing, with reporting indicating that the Supreme Court is examining allegations related to misuse of donations.

According to the Trust’s notification circulated via public channels, eligible candidates must apply by 18 July 2026, with a deadline stated as 4:00 pm. The CEO contract is initially for three years and may be renewed based on performance. The Trust says salary and service benefits are decided through mutual negotiations.

Eligibility requirements reported across outlets include a minimum bachelor’s degree, age between 50 and 70 years, and at least 20 years of managerial experience in large public or institutional settings, including coordination across areas such as administration, finance, security, legal affairs, and other functions. The role also requires the candidate to be a practising Hindu, with Vaishnav/ Ram devotion considered desirable, and a good working knowledge of Hindi and English. A three-member committee is set to scrutinise applications, and the selection process is expected to be completed in the following month.
