Call of Duty Season 5 launches for Black Ops 7 and Warzone on July 23, with updates rolling out across major time zones around 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST. The season includes a new multiplayer lineup, additional Zombies content, and multiple Warzone changes and modes. Multiplayer additions include new maps and modes such as a Nuketown-themed pinball machine map, the return of the Black Ops 4 6v6 map Frequency, and remasters of older maps like Dig, along with new maps Jubilee, Turbo Tilt, and Descent. New gameplay modes include Overdrive Domination, Gauntlet Rush, and Cranked making its debut in Black Ops 7.

In Zombies, Season 5 adds smaller experiences at launch, including the survival map Eidskallen and a Starting Room map tied to Kowakujo, plus Rogue Run. The midseason “Reloaded” update (expected around late August) introduces the final, round-based Zombies map for the Black Ops 7 storyline, Rex Infernus.

For Warzone, sources point to a new Verdansk point of interest called Drone Labs and the return of Heavy Metal Heroes, a 50v50 limited-time mode focused on heavy-vehicle combat with superhero-style powers.
