The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has issued a public advisory on temporary traffic arrangements for Reggae Sumfest 2026 at Plantation Cove, Priory, St Ann, on Saturday, July 18. The JCF says the measures are meant to support the safe and orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians and to reduce congestion around the venue, where a large number of patrons are expected.
During the event, the JCF says four lanes will be available along Priory Main Road, near Plantation Cove, at all three entrances. Motorists travelling westward will use the left lane for motorists proceeding straight toward the Runaway Bay direction. The middle westbound lane will be used by motorists turning right into the venue. Motorists travelling eastward toward Priory/Ocho Rios will use the middle eastbound lane.
Parking and shuttle services will be available at Plantation Cove for VVIP, VIP and General patrons. Additional parking and shuttle points will be Pearly Beach (for patrons travelling from the east), Seville Great House (for patrons travelling from the east and nearby areas of St Ann), and Discovery Bay (for patrons travelling from the west). The JCF will deploy traffic personnel and place signs along major routes to direct patrons to the lots.
