Marshall announces a limited-edition “Marshall x Hendrix 60th Anniversary Collection” celebrating the 60th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix using Marshall amplifiers. Across the releases, the products adopt a psychedelic visual design associated with Hendrix’s era, including a color palette styled to evoke the late 1960s.
The collection includes a redesigned Acton III Bluetooth home speaker, described as part of the anniversary lineup. It also features a half stack amplifier offering, presented as a reworking of a classic Marshall amp format with the same “Purple Haze”-inspired theme. In addition to the amp and speaker, the lineup includes a pedal bundle.
Both outlets describe the collaboration as a contemporary pairing of the two names—Marshall and Hendrix—roughly six decades after the guitarist first plugged into the brand’s amplifiers. The items are positioned as special-edition releases and are marketed as part of the commemorative 60th anniversary collection.
