He alleges these statements show N7.13 trillion spent under “Energy Security Expenses,” which he characterizes as petrol subsidy or under-recovery, despite government assertions that subsidy had been fully removed in 2023.
He adds that inflation, unemployment, and deteriorating living conditions continue to affect Nigerians and that the reforms have not delivered the promised benefits. Atiku urges transparency and accountability, calling for scrutiny by relevant authorities of the alleged irregularities, including allocations for projects outside agency mandates and other controversial insertions.
