The Times of India reports that the timeline of the case stretches back more than a decade: a Delhi court had summoned Singh as an accused more than 11 years ago. It also says the Supreme Court’s order comes nearly two years after Singh’s death in November 2024, when the trial was effectively closed following his demise.
