Gillette India reports a year-on-year rise in first-quarter earnings, with profit increasing to around ₹159 crore. According to company results discussed by multiple outlets, profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 rises by roughly 9.4%–10% compared with the corresponding quarter a year earlier, supported by stronger demand in its grooming and oral care businesses. Revenue from operations also increases by about 11% year-on-year, reaching roughly ₹783 crore. One outlet notes that revenue from operations is slightly lower than the immediately preceding quarter, though it remains higher than the same quarter in the previous year.
While sales growth helps support overall performance, the company faces margin pressure. NDTV reports that EBITDA margin narrows slightly due to higher operating expenses, and Business Line links the overall resilience to growth in grooming and oral care that helps offset rising raw material costs. Free Press Journal adds that the company records total income of about ₹788 crore and total expenses of about ₹574 crore for the quarter. Results are approved by the company’s board at a meeting held on July 30, 2026.
