ISRO’s U.R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Bengaluru has opened online applications for 410 apprentice vacancies under “Apprentice Recruitment 2026” for the 2026–27 cycle. The recruitment is for Graduate, Technician and Commercial Practice apprenticeships. Candidates apply through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and submit the application via the UMANG portal. The registration window starts on July 29, 2026 and the last date to apply is August 28, 2026 (applications are to be submitted by 11:59 pm).

Eligibility requires candidates to hold the relevant qualification: B.E./B.Tech for Graduate Apprentices, a diploma for Technician Apprentices, and a Commercial Practice diploma for Commercial Practice Apprentices, all from recognized institutions/boards. Qualifying examinations completed between 2022 and 2026 are eligible, while those who completed earlier than 2021, are pursuing higher studies, or have already undergone apprenticeship training (or have one year or more of work experience) are not eligible.

Shortlisting is based on marks in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification and merit evaluation. Selected candidates undergo 12 months of apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961, with monthly stipends of ₹12,300 for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 for Technician and Commercial Practice apprenticeships.
