Amazon MGM Studios is developing an animated “Warhammer 40,000” event series, with Blur Studios and Games Workshop involved, according to reports from Variety and Deadline. The animated project is being developed in parallel with an upcoming live-action “Warhammer 40,000” series at Amazon. Both outlets report that Henry Cavill is attached to executive produce the animated event series.
Variety adds that Cavill is also associated with leading the live-action “Warhammer 40,000” series that Amazon is developing, framing the animated series as part of the broader effort around the franchise at the same studio. Deadline similarly states that Cavill is set to star and executive produce the live-action series and is also on board for executive production of the animated event series.
