The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result of the Computer Based Examination (CBE) for the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and for the Havaldar examination (CBIC & CBN) 2025 on its official website, ssc.gov.in. According to the reports, 8,04,633 candidates appeared for the CBE, with the Commission having received 36,19,834 applications for the recruitment drive. The SSC shortlists candidates for the next stage for Havaldar posts based on normalised scores from Session II of the CBE. The Havaldar PET/PST stage is expected to proceed after this shortlisting. While one source states 8,274 candidates are shortlisted for PET/PST, another reports 8,071 shortlisted candidates, with both accounts indicating SSC releases category-wise shortlisting and qualifying information. The Commission also provides updates related to withheld, debarred, and malpractice-related cases. One outlet reports that 727 candidates are flagged for malpractice, with results not processed; additional candidates are reported as debarred by regional offices and a small number are kept withheld due to suspicious activities. SSC says final answer keys have been applied after examining representations, and the PET/PST schedule is to be announced separately.
