Premier Energies Ltd. reports that its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY27 rises 53% year-on-year to about ₹471.9 crore (₹472 crore), versus ₹307.8 crore in the same quarter of FY26. Revenue from operations increases to ₹2,462.6 crore from ₹1,820.7 crore, while total income also rises to ₹2,507.6 crore from ₹1,869.5 crore. The company’s profit before tax grows to ₹620.4 crore from ₹403.0 crore.
On a sequential basis, Premier Energies’ net profit improves from ₹456.8 crore in Q4 FY26 to ₹471.9 crore in Q1 FY27, and revenue from operations increases from ₹2,230.3 crore to ₹2,462.6 crore. Total expenses rise to ₹1,887.8 crore from ₹1,676.1 crore, consistent with higher activity.
The results reflect changes in the company’s business structure. In April 2026, Premier Energies acquires a 51% stake in Transcon Ind Ltd., which becomes a subsidiary from April 3, 2026, and adds a separate reportable segment for Power Transmission & Distribution Equipment with ₹106.5 crore revenue in the quarter. The company also terminates its proposed acquisition of KSolare Energy Pvt. Ltd., citing no financial implications.
