Nigerian comedian and actor Samuel Perry, known as Broda Shaggi, addresses fans months after a reported shooting incident. According to reports, the incident occurred in March while he was filming near the Sango Ota bridge in Ogun State, when he was reportedly shot in the leg. He was taken to a hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, before being transferred to another facility in Ikeja’s Government Residential Area (GRA). After a period of limited public communication, Shaggi posts an emotional message on his WhatsApp channel. In the message, he thanks supporters for their patience and loyalty during his absence, saying their continued support gave him strength during what he describes as a difficult period. He also indicates that he cannot yet share all details, but promises to share his story soon. Shaggi hints at a comeback, saying he is planning to return better and stronger and is hopeful the time to engage with fans again will come soon.
