A 16-year-old boy from Madhya Pradesh is found alone near Mumbai’s Film City after travelling to the city seeking an acting role. Police spotted him wandering and took him to a station for safekeeping. He is reported to be unharmed, and authorities contacted his family after locating him.

Police say the teenager left home on the pretext of going to school without informing his family. According to reports, he travelled by train via Nagpur and reached Mumbai around August 7, arriving at Goregaon and then walking toward Film City. While one outlet focuses on the immediate police response and the father travelling to Mumbai, another also places the case in the context of the long-running sitcom’s popularity, saying his stated motivation is to appear in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Outlets agree that police are holding the minor at Aarey Police Station and that his father is on the way to take him home. They differ mainly in the emphasis placed on the show’s fandom versus the timeline and police intervention details.
