BFAR information officer Wheng Bricia-Briones says there is no confirmed information yet on how many fish die, how widespread the impact is, or how many fisherfolk are affected as of the latest reporting. The teams from BFAR’s 5-Fisheries Integrated Laboratory are tasked with validating the report, identifying the possible cause, and evaluating potential effects, including preventing the affected fish from reaching consumers.
