Israel’s largest bank, Bank Leumi, is preparing to let customers trade major cryptocurrencies through its investment app using Galaxy. The bank says customers will be able to buy, hold and sell Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana starting in early 2027.

The announcements come as industry and data providers highlight growing crypto activity in Israel. One outlet cites Chainalysis figures estimating Israel received roughly $22 billion in on-chain crypto value over the 12 months ending June 2025. While coverage focuses on the bank’s product launch, the broader context differs by outlet: some emphasize the specific timetable and features of the app-based offering, while others point to Israel’s recent on-chain market scale as background.
