Maharashtra’s Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for agriculture undergraduate courses for 2026-27 releases its first-round allotment, with 10,871 students allocated seats across nine professional programmes. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell publishes the list for the CAP carried out through agri2026.mahacet.org.
According to CET Cell data, 23,803 students register for the agriculture admissions process, and 18,993 complete preference filling within the deadline. Of those considered for Round 1, 10,871 secure an admission opportunity based on their preference order. A total of 3,147 students receive their first-choice college, and their admissions are auto-frozen, while other candidates can pursue later rounds for improved options if eligible.
Both outlets report that students with allotted seats must complete document verification and acceptance steps within the scheduled period, including paying an admission acceptance fee and selecting an option to retain the seat. Reporting for verification is scheduled for mid-August, with the next round’s seat availability set to be announced afterward. The allotments also span multiple agriculture universities and programme categories, with B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture accounting for the largest share of seats.
