The National Testing Agency (NTA) announces a re-examination for 49 candidates of the AIAPGET 2026 after a power failure disrupts the test at a centre in Jaipur. The original AIAPGET 2026 exam is conducted on August 22, 2026, with candidates appearing for Shift-I across multiple centres.
NTA says the disruption occurs at Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur during Shift-I. The agency attributes the power failure to the examination conducting agency, M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited. NTA reports that out of 36,979 registered candidates in Shift-I, 35,837 appear at 200 centres, with 35,788 completing the exam. At the Jaipur centre, 49 candidates are unable to complete the test.
NTA sets the re-exam for September 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM, to be held at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur. It also states that revised admit cards will be issued to affected candidates with updated venue details. Times of India and NDTV reiterate the same re-exam timing and process, while NDTV additionally highlights NTA helpline contact information for candidates who need clarification.
