Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock and pace-bowling all-rounder Raj Angad Bawa are ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2026 due to injuries, multiple reports say. De Kock is out with a tendon injury in his left wrist. The injury is linked to an incident ahead of Mumbai Indians’ home match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, after he is reported to have been hit on the wrist during practice. Bawa is also ruled out after suffering a ligament tear in his right thumb, sustained during Mumbai Indians’ previous match against Punjab Kings.
Mumbai Indians are already eliminated from the IPL playoff race. They have two matches left in the season: against Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday and against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. De Kock last played against Chennai Super Kings and had missed the Sunrisers Hyderabad match after the wrist injury. Bawa has made three appearances for the franchise this season.
Both players are set to continue rehabilitation from their respective homes, with support reported to be provided by the team as the season concludes.
