Veteran actor Sudhir Dalvi, known for playing Sai Baba in *Shirdi Ke Sai Baba*, is recovering at home after a serious health crisis last year. His wife, Suhas Dalvi, says he remains weak and still needs help walking with a walker, and that his recovery is slow but he is stable enough to be discharged.

According to reports, Dalvi was hospitalized in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for nearly a month in October 2025 after being diagnosed with severe sepsis, which affected his joints and mobility and required an ICU stay. His family sought financial assistance after his treatment costs, reported as rising to about Rs 15 lakh in one account and higher in another, became difficult to manage. Across outlets, the Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust and film-industry supporters are cited as key sources of help, with Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Kartik Aaryan and others reportedly contributing. The family also expresses gratitude to Sai devotees and residents of Shirdi, and asks for prayers as Dalvi continues rehabilitation.
