The FDA says it takes the step under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and related rules and regulations. Times of India reports the suspensions are tied to alleged non-compliance during inspections, citing poor hygiene at the EatClub outlet in Goregaon. It also says licences are revoked for Rani Creators Consultant and Service Providers in Kurla, and for bakeries in Chembur including Goodluck and Ashfaque.
