The Federal Government says it has received a donation from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to support the evacuation of distressed Nigerians from South Africa amid xenophobic and Afrophobic attacks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its spokesperson Oluwafemi Adeniyi, expresses gratitude to the church for a contribution of $265,854.
The government states the donation is used to fund 500 one-way tickets for Nigerians seeking to return home.
