Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, is confirmed to include MagSafe charging, despite earlier uncertainty in reporting. Multiple outlets point to Apple’s published specifications to resolve the question of whether the device would support magnetic wireless charging.
The iPhone Duo supports MagSafe wireless charging at up to 25W, matching the charging capability of iPhone 18 Pro models. It also supports Qi2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W when used with third-party accessories. In addition to wireless charging, the device supports faster wired charging, with reports stating it can reach 50% in about 20 minutes—slower than iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models, which reach 50% in about 15 minutes.
Outlet coverage largely aligns on the presence of MagSafe and the headline charge speeds, while emphasizing different specifics. One outlet focuses on practical charging expectations and compatible accessories, while others highlight how the feature contradicts earlier rumors and cite the relevant technical specs.
