Apple introduces two first-party accessories for its iPhone Duo: a dedicated Case and a Folio with Kickstand. Both products are designed to use magnets for alignment with the iPhone Duo, using what Apple describes as a smooth “attach experience.”
The iPhone Duo Case is a thin, two-part design that wraps around the phone’s front and back. Apple says it uses polycarbonate with a matte coating and will be sold in Sand and Navy Blue. The iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand covers only the back of the device and uses Apple’s TechWoven technical fabric.
The Folio includes an integrated kickstand that snaps flush when not in use and supports multiple viewing angles for reading, watching video, and FaceTime. Apple also states that the phone can charge through MagSafe behind the kickstand even when the Folio is propped open. MacRumors and GSMArena both report the accessories are not yet available, with sales expected to follow soon, potentially including pre-order availability.
