Disney Cruise Line announces its next ship, the Believe, with a maiden voyage departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Dec. 18, 2027. ABC News reports the company has confirmed the Florida launch date as part of its latest fleet update.
Disney also describes onboard entertainment and dining offerings planned for the new vessel. Variety and PR Newswire say the ship will feature a first-stage adaptation of Disney’s “Encanto,” developed exclusively for guests, as well as an all-new “Frozen” Family Feast. PR Newswire adds additional logistics, including when general bookings will open, and frames the experiences as part of a broader lineup themed around Disney characters. Across outlets, the focus is on the ship’s 2027 debut from Port Everglades and the new signature experiences scheduled for its inaugural operations.
