Joe Dean and Grant Forrest are tied for the lead ahead of the final round of the Spanish Open. Dean posts a six-under-par round to move level with Forrest, and both golfers sit at 13 under par with one round remaining.
The reports agree on the top-of-the-board scenario in Madrid and the size of the gap going into Sunday’s play: it is one of a tied position rather than a clear lead. The outlets differ only in wording and emphasis—one notes Dean “saves round” with a big birdie, while others focus on the final-round setup and the final scores that put both players level.
