Four Filipinos are reported injured in an attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to the Philippines’ Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). The DMW says the injured workers are in different hospitals across Riyadh and are receiving treatment.
Outlet reports based on DMW statements differ on the latest counts and how many are critically ill. One report says the number has risen to four, with three admitted in intensive care units (ICUs) and one planned for discharge. Other reports cite earlier figures of two or three Filipinos in ICU. The DMW has not released the victims’ identities and says monitoring teams from relevant Philippine agencies are tracking their conditions.
