Defence technology company Tonbo Imaging India has set an IPO price band of ₹665–₹700 per equity share for an offer valued at about ₹852 crore. The public issue is set to open on October 15 and close on October 19, according to company statements reported by outlets.

The IPO consists entirely of an offer for sale (OFS) of roughly 1.22 crore equity shares by promoters and existing shareholders, with no fresh issue component. As a result, proceeds from the sale go to selling shareholders rather than the company. Reporting also describes the company as developing sensing, processing, communication and guidance systems used for surveillance, reconnaissance, targeting and control, including thermal imaging and targeting-related products.

Outlets also note the involvement of book-running lead managers—JM Financial and IIFL Capital Services—and KFin Technologies as registrar. The differing coverage focuses on deal mechanics (price band and dates) and on the fact the transaction is structured as an OFS rather than a capital-raising IPO for expansion.
