RBL Bank reports a sharp rise in standalone Q2 profit for fiscal 2026-27, with net profit reaching about ₹482 crore—up roughly 170% year-on-year from about ₹179 crore in the prior-year quarter. Multiple outlets link the increase to a boost from the FCNR(B) (Foreign Currency Non-Resident Bank) swap facility. The bank also posts higher net interest income and broader growth in income during the quarter ended 30 September 2026.
RBL Bank says net interest income increases 37.4% year-on-year to around ₹2,131 crore, while net interest margin is reported at about 4.61%. Other income rises, and total income grows to roughly ₹3,208 crore. Outlets also highlight cost discipline and improved operating performance, including a lower cost-to-income ratio. On asset quality, gross non-performing assets decline to about 1.02% and net non-performing assets to about 0.29%, with provision coverage reported near 95%. One outlet also notes the bank plans an overseas debt programme and that its board clears advances related to foreign-currency fundraising.
