Apple is rolling out “Remnants,” an immersive horror film directed by Ti West, on Apple Vision Pro on October 16. Multiple outlets report that Apple has released a trailer that shows viewers’ real-time reactions as they experience the film for the first time, using first-person perspective footage.

Ahead of the launch, Apple screened the experience for a limited group in a setting described by at least one outlet as Woldmere Castle. The coverage frames the project as a new kind of horror viewing experience tailored to Vision Pro, rather than a conventional third-person movie trailer.

While the outlets agree on the release timing, the film’s creator, and the reaction-led marketing approach, they differ mainly in emphasis: ComingSoon highlights the “reaction trailer” concept and the first-person viewpoint, AppleInsider focuses on the immersive screening and recording of responses, and 9to5Mac centers on Apple’s announcement of the Vision Pro arrival and promotion via a teaser.
