An Indian truck driver in Dubai wins a lottery worth about ₹1.3 crore (reported as Dh500,000 by some outlets). He celebrates the win and says he is already making plans for how to use the money, largely to improve his family’s lifestyle. According to multiple reports, the winner comes from Punjab, and the story also mentions other Indian prize winners connected to the same draw.
Outlets describe how participants found the lottery in different ways. The NDTV report says the Punjab driver first heard about the lottery through online videos before deciding to enter. Times of India adds further detail by noting that other winners—also drivers from Punjab and Kerala—record separate prize amounts and express intentions ranging from supporting children’s futures to sharing with friends. All accounts emphasize the winners’ excitement and interest in trying future draws.
