West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has released the preliminary written test results for the Kolkata Police Constable and Lady Constable recruitment for 2024. NDTV and Times of India report that candidates can check their results on the official WBPRB/recruitment websites.
Across outlets, the figures align that 47,943 or nearly 48,000 candidates qualify for the next stage. The scheduled physical tests—PMT and PET—begin on October 28, 2026. Admit cards, according to both reports, are available from October 15, and applicants can access them using required login details such as application serial number and date of birth.
Times of India also notes that the final answer key was released on October 8, adding context for how the preliminary written test results were prepared. NDTV focuses primarily on the result publication and qualifying numbers, while Times of India emphasizes the dates and the candidate-checking method.
