Rockstar’s upcoming open-world game Grand Theft Auto 6 is reportedly set to reach PC in early 2027, with multiple outlets citing the same underlying reporting. The new claims place the PC release in the first quarter of 2027—specifically within the first three months—after the game’s expected console launch in November.
Outlets such as GameSpot, Polygon, Metro, VGC, and others describe the window as “Q1 2027” or “within the first three months,” while others phrase it as “early 2027” or “first quarter.” Several articles note this would be a significant change from Rockstar’s past pattern, where PC versions typically arrived well after console releases (for example, GTA V on PC launched roughly 18 months later).
None of the reports say Rockstar has officially confirmed a PC date. GTA 6’s currently listed platforms include PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and at least one report reiterates that Xbox has not confirmed streaming to PC via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The timing and availability details remain unverified until Rockstar or its publisher makes an announcement.
