Two men are set to be charged in Singapore after they are allegedly found with bank cards stolen from passengers’ bags on a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore. Singapore police say the alleged offences occur on board a Vietjet flight on Oct 12.

The men, both Chinese nationals, are arrested during an airport police operation at Changi Airport Terminal 4 aimed at theft on board aircraft. Authorities state they are linked to two separate theft cases, and that the men are found with three bank cards that do not belong to them. Outlets differ mainly in emphasis and timing details: one report highlights that charges are scheduled to be faced on Oct 14, while others focus on the arrest circumstances and the number of unauthorised cards recovered.
