A man and his dog die after a road crash that leads to a car fire. Reports say Aaron “Archie” Richards was driving an Audi A5 when the vehicle collides with a parked Peugeot. His dog, Merlin, is also reported to have died in the incident.
Outlets describe the crash as a “horror” incident and note that the fire follows the collision. The Manchester Evening News and the Daily Record focus on the deaths and describe Richards as “remarkable” and the dog as “beloved.” The Irish Mirror highlights the tributes paid by family members, while all accounts agree on the core details: the Audi A5 and parked Peugeot are involved, and both the man and his dog do not survive.
