The Florida Panthers defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets 7-3, with Brady Tkachuk driving much of the offense in a standout performance. Brady records a natural hat trick, and the sources describe it as NHL history tied to how his goals are assisted within the Tkachuk family.
Multiple outlets report that Matthew Tkachuk plays a central role by assisting on each of Brady’s three goals. One outlet specifies that Matthew assists on all three of Brady’s goals, making him the first to register an assist on each of a brother’s natural hat trick. Others add that the three goals come on power plays and note that Brady’s hat trick also marks his first goals for Florida as part of his start with the team.
