The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) files a supplementary chargesheet against the 14th accused in the NEET-UG 2026 question paper leak case. Multiple outlets report that the chargesheet names Sheshrao (also spelled Sheshrav) Bajrang Suryawanshi, who is described as a close associate of another accused, Shubham Khairnar. The CBI’s case links him to providing the purported leaked question paper to candidates before the examination.

According to the reports, the supplementary chargesheet is presented before a special court in Delhi, with the matter listed for further hearing on October 22. Outlets also state that the CBI had already filed a main chargesheet against 13 accused in July, and that the court has taken cognizance of it. The CBI alleges security lapses during the exam period and says the accused collected payments from candidates or their families, including arranging the delivery of leaked materials at a house in Nanded. Reports also note Suryawanshi’s arrest on September 2 and that a judge takes the supplementary document on record for consideration.
