The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the reporting deadline for MBBS and BDS admissions under the third round of centralised admissions for 2026-27. Candidates allotted seats must report to their colleges and complete admission formalities by 3 pm on October 16, following an updated Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) timeline. Earlier, the deadline for Round 3 reporting was October 14.

In the same third-round cycle, outlets report vacancy and pharmacy-allocation details. For MBBS/BDS, 10,394 students have been admitted out of 11,340 seats in Round 3, leaving 946 seats vacant. The CET Cell also cancels the previously published online stray vacancy round schedule for October 12 and says a revised schedule will follow.

For pharmacy admissions, the CET Cell publishes lists for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In the third round for first-year BPharm and PharmD, 6,720 students are allotted seats, and 3,265 admissions are auto-frozen for students who secure colleges among their first six preferences. Separately, for postgraduate pharmacy (MPharm and PharmD Post Baccalaureate), 1,238 students are offered seats, with reporting for all pharmacy allotments scheduled between October 15 and October 17 and a provisional vacancy list for the fourth round expected on October 18.
