Hulu’s limited series “Victoria” adds Mark Duplass to its cast, joining previously announced actors Li Jun Li and Diane Lane. The show, created and written by Christy Hall (“I Am Not Okay with This”), is set in San Francisco and is presented as an erotic thriller.
Across outlet descriptions, “Victoria” centers on Maxine Tao, a con woman who becomes pulled into the elite circles of venture capital. The series is characterized as blending romance, suspense, and power dynamics within luxury settings, with storylines framed around an entanglement of influence and hidden networks.
Deadline and Variety both report the same core casting update and the series’ premise. Neither outlet’s summary includes specific episode counts, release dates, or Duplass’s character name, but both agree on the overall genre and setting.
