Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line release the first trailer for “Evil Dead Burn,” the sixth film in the “Evil Dead” franchise. The movie is directed by Sébastien Vaniček, who previously directed horror film “Infested.” The studios position the title as a standalone entry within the franchise, following earlier installments including 2013’s “Evil Dead” and 2023’s “Evil Dead Rise.”
According to multiple outlets, “Evil Dead Burn” centers on a grieving woman who withdraws to her in-laws’ isolated home after her husband’s death. The trailer depicts a family gathering that turns violent and horror-filled, with the tagline emphasizing “family” as a source of danger. Across coverage, the film is described as gory and focused on Deadites overtaking the household.
The film is scheduled for theatrical release on July 10.
