A 48-year-old IT employee working for TCS in Pune allegedly dies by suicide, according to police and reports citing a complaint filed by his son. The son submits that a suicide note accuses multiple people: it names an “online friend” whom the deceased alleges sent defamatory emails, and it also names two female colleagues who are accused of repeatedly humiliating him. The allegations include denial of assignments and threats. Separate reporting also links the case to workplace difficulties and personal circumstances. The deceased is described as having faced stress related to his wife’s chronic illness and having trouble obtaining leave following a family bereavement. Police have registered a case under provisions relating to abetment to suicide against the individuals named in the complaint and suicide note. Investigators are examining the claims made in the note and the circumstances leading up to the death, including the alleged conduct by colleagues and the alleged harassment connected to online messaging or emails.
