A married woman in Nagpur has alleged that a former acquaintance and his associates raped her and forced her into religious conversion and marriage. According to her account, she was drugged and later subjected to rituals where she was made to chant Urdu religious verses and instructed to eat meat. She also alleges she was photographed or filmed in compromising positions and then blackmailed for money.

The woman’s claims include that the accused performed conversion-related acts and, at one point, declared her married to one of the men involved. She further alleges additional assaults after the conversion rituals and coerced compliance during the period she says she was held under the influence of “hypnosis” or chanting.

Separately, a video has reportedly emerged in connection with the allegations, showing the woman pleading to be released while a man chants religious verses. The video is cited alongside the woman’s statements about being drugged, assaulted, filmed, and extorted. The reports describe allegations but do not provide confirmed outcomes or court findings in the materials shared.
