Arcade.dev raises $60 million in a Series A funding round to develop technology for controlling and securing production AI agents. Multiple outlets report that the company is building a “secure action layer” intended to help enterprises manage the risk of AI agents taking unauthorized actions.

The company’s stated goal is to clarify authorization and accountability by tracking which agent performs a given action, for which user, and under what permissions. This is presented as a way to address a key operational challenge for organizations deploying AI agents: determining which actions agents are allowed to take and being able to attribute those actions accurately.

Arcade.dev plans to use the funding for product development, expanding its ecosystem, and hiring. The investment is framed as supporting broader enterprise adoption of AI agents, with emphasis on governance and auditability rather than consumer-facing applications.
